AFTER you finish packing your room.

[Kamil]

As his mom said, he could go on a pokemon journey after the move. They settled in for about a week then Kamil was allowed to start his adventure. He decided for some strange reason to start it at night in the middle of winter. As to why remains unknown.

Kamil approched the lab shivering slightly, but tightened his jacket and continued to the door. As he made his way to the steps he sliped on ice and face planted right onto the door making a loud bang. "OW! THAT HURT!" He rubbed his head sitting in front of the door waiting for the pain to go away.

[Prof. Nicole]

Lily was moving through the streets of Insei. She had come here because really, she had no where else to go. It hadn't been all that long ago, that she had been found collapsed on the ground. She had had no memory back then, and only slowly was she regaining what little memory she had. The one thing Lily did know, was she was a morph, a aggron morph. It explained the armor that covered her body, that she simply couldn't take off.

Her blonde hair fell at her sides, that cold day. She hadn't felt the need to pull it up like she normally did. The ribbon that she tied it up with was stashed away in her small bag that she had with her. So, what was she going to do? She had no past, no home, no family.. well.. she could always go on one of those pokemon adventures. She guessed she could probably ask about herself as she was traveling. So, it seemed like a pretty good idea. The girl careful, not to slip on the ice made her say to the lab.

That was when she saw another male. She stayed back a bit, shy for a moment, before the boy slipped! The girl, forgetting her fear rushed forward. The iron over her body, silent despite her quick movements. In a instant she was beside him as she looked at him. "Are you all right?" she asked. She could only hope that he was. She didn't know anything about caring for another person.

[Kamil]

Kamil rubbed his head a bit before responding, "Yea I think. Wasn't expecting ice to be on the steps. I think i'll be fine as long as I dont get hit in the head again. He got himself up and stood in the snow so he wouldn't slip on the ice again to give his feet more traction. He then looked at the the girl and being the person he is, he bluntly said "Whats with the armor getup? Isn't it making you freezing cold? And how heavy is it? He continued asking questions not realizing he could be insulting her.

[Prof. Nicole]

She sighed a breath of relief when he seemed to be just fine. The girl was glad that no real harm had come to the boy. She listened to him quietly as he spoke. Well, anyone could make that mistake and she understood. It must of hurt to be hit in the head. To bad, that she wouldn't of been able to feel it anyway. For some reason she couldn't feel pain. She wondered if it had to do with her memories that she couldn't remember. She made sure he wouldn't slip again as he stood carefully watching him.

Her eyes however flickered to him as he spoke again. Her armor. Oh, right. Not everyone knew of pokemorphs she guessed. She should probably get used to explaining things now. "I'm a aggron pokemorph. The armor doesn't come off. Its basically attached to me. " she replied. At the rest of his questions she laughed a bit. "No, its not cold.. and its not heavy either. I was born with it, so i've always had it.." she said. She stayed in her calm inclosed self. After all, this person could hate her for being different.

She wouldn't show him the benefit of the doubt if that happened.

[Kamil]

Kamil looked at her kind of surprised. Normally he would have gotten smacked or yelled at for saying something like that. Also it was his first time ever seeing a pokemorph. He heard about them through tv and books but never in real life. "Well.... it kinda makes you look cool. And sometimes I wish I had armor. Peferably a helmet in this case. Kamil laughed as he rubbed his head again as the pain slowly went away. Oh my name is Kamil Dowonna, I just moved into town and im here for my first pokemon.

[Prof. Nicole]

To be honest, lily was sort of surprised herself. She didn't have much of her memories, but she felt like she had been shunned by just about everyone. So, to see that this person wasn't doing that to her, well, it really made her happy inside. She let herself relax a bit, though not completely. It was just a part of her she guessed. It would be so much easier if she had her memory, it was kind of hard to keep track of things without it. She let her eyes drift to the boy once more as he started to talk again.

"Cool hmm? Well it definitely protects me in cases like this. Though there are a few places the armor doesn't cover. Like my face and head, but.. for some on reason, even if i'm hit in those places, i don't feel pain." she said softly. She really didn't know know why. However, the small bit of a damper on her spirits was washed away as the boy in front of her started to laugh and a smile once more came to her face. "Its nice to meet you Kamil. " she said with a slight smile.

"My name is Lily, I'm not sure where i'm from exactly. I sort of have a blank memory. I was found here a few weeks ago passed out. So i'm still trying to figure out who I am. That's why I'm going on a pokemon journey too. It will give me something to do, and hopefully find out some things about my past." she said. Though, she wasn't quite sure why she was telling him all this. To brush off her odd exchange of words she moved forward. Trying again to open the door to the lab.

Hopefully they could both get pokemon without another accident.

[Jess]

Most people slept at night. You know, the sane ones. So what was up with the sudden racket outside? Some annoying to-be trainer? Couldn't it wait until morning? Grumbling, the Xatu sat still on a desk inside. Whoever it was was lucky that he was already up. Otherwise he might be a bit annoyed. He assumed that they would just come in when they were ready, what since they were obnoxious enough to slip and hit the door, why wouldn't they? Who needed to knock at hours like this? No one knocked anymore.

He had been messing with paperwork that the Professor needed done. He didn't mind doing it, not for her. So, since upkeep of the lab was his job, he decided he would help whoever was on the other side of the door. He didn't expect two people to come in though, and one a pokemorph at that! He watched them for a moment, to make sure that they could actually come into the lab, before speaking. "Welcome to the Insei Lab. I assume you two are here to start your journey?" he asked calmly.

[Kamil]

Kamil stepped in boldly with a red mark on his head from where he hit the door pointing his finger at the Xatu with complete confidence. "YES! My mom said i could begin my journey after we moved and its been a week since then and I couldn't wait any longer! I'm ready to become the number one trainer and prove to everyone back home im not the loser that they think I am!"

[Prof. Nicole]

Lily finally managed to open the door, before kamil seemed to step in front of her. She frowned a bit, as she tried not to slip as he shoved past her. He was really a high spirited person wasn't he? She frowned to herself as she thought about that. She entered after him, taking time to at least close the door so the winters chill wouldn't come in to much. She was at least respectful to do that much. She understood it was a bit late and didn't mean to really intrude. However, as she turned around and saw a xatu she smiled a bit. He seemed to be a lot like her.

The moment, however, didn't last long before the other male seemed to blurt out at the creature. If the woman could of, she would of sweat dropped. Was this kid insane? Couldn't he tell the creature was all ready in a rather foul mood? They had after all come at a late time. She stepped away from Kamil a bit in a gesture that obviously meant "i'm not with him." She looked at him as he spoke. Well, he may of been a idiot, but his motivations were in the right place, she guessed. She finally stepped forward.

"Thank you for letting us in mr. Xatu. Sorry for coming in so late. " she spoke in the same calm voice. She however bowed a bit in respect to the pokemon. Even though that kind of age was over and done with, she still acted that way. After all to her.. chivalry hadn't died. She stood back up after a moment. Slightly wondering what the pokemon would think of all this.

[Jess]

The Xatu's eyes roamed over the pair, taking in their appearance. Well, one looked like a complete buffoon -- mainly from barging into the lab! He assumed that he was the one who slipped! -- and the other appeared to be a respectful young lady. Well he knew who he'd pick for a logical conversation if he had to choose between the two. The Xatu dipped its head in thanks to her for closing the door before turning his eyes back to the rather unrespectful young man. He ruffled his feathers a bit and huffed. "Be a bit more respectful, you nearly knocked the young lady over on your way in," he said.

To top it all off he was being impatient. He understood the urge to go off on a marvelous journey on your way to become the best you could be, possibly the best in all the world, but really now, one had to be more patient. Life didn't just hand you milk and cookies or there would be more Snorlaxes around! "You children these days, no time for pleasantries. Well you've waited this long lad so you can wait a bit longer! I have half the mind to make you wait until morning!" he said, huffing again.

He looked at the girl. "It's not a problem. I didn't have much choice in the matter. The door was unlocked anyway." he said to her. "My name is Raza, I look after the lab beside the Professor. Is there anything I can do for you?"

[Kamil]

A sudden sickness in Kamil's stomach started to happened. He felt bad coming so late not realizing most people are able to sleep at night and how he nearly hurt Lilly. He lowered his hand and his burst of energy seemed to wore off. "I'm sorry.... I can't control myself sometimes. My mom tried to teach me manners but... they just never sank in.

Kamil looked back up and lightened up a bit and scratched the back of his head. "Your not really going to make me wait till morning are you? I've been waiting forever to become a trainer because my mom wouldn't let me. You know how mothers are about letting their kids just leave home for a while right?"

[Prof. Nicole]

Lily, to be honest sort of felt a bit bad, when the boy got yelled at. He had, after all, been nice to her. She frowned a bit and shuffled her feet a bit. Now what? A minute ago she didn't even want to be associated with the boy. She looked back at the xatu as he continued to talk about the boy. How he had almost ran her over and about how impatient he was. She frowned and finally stepped forward. She wasn't really sure why she was doing it. She didn't protect others, normally only protecting herself, but she just felt like she had to.

"Its not.. completely his fault. I understand he was in a hurry." she said. She let the two of them finish talking before she looked up at the flying type again. "Well, I would still like to thank you for letting us in anyway. Well, like you said, I am here as well to get a pokemon. And its very nice to meet you Raza. My name is lily." she said with a gentle smile. It didn't really reach her eyes but she was trying right? Lily was more settled around pokemon showing her true nature often, but with people it wasn't the same.

She didn't completely trust Kamil either. She was relaxed but not enough to be completely off her guard. "Though.. i don't mind waiting for the young man first. He seems to have been waiting a lot longer than I have." she said with a small voice. She really didn't know what pokemon to choose anyway. Might as well wait and see what the male choose.

[Jess]

Raza inwardly sighed. No he wasn't going to make him wait until morning. That was just a suggestion to be a bit more patient. Didn't want to make any rash decisions. "Don't worry about it. I was up anyway. I understand your urge to hurry. Just try to be more patient and it will bring you a long way." he said. He hadn't really meant to make him feel bad or anything. At least not consciously. The Xatu sighed a bit.

Turning to Lily he nodded along. Yes, yes. Well wasn't she a kind one, sticking up for him. "It's a pleasure to meet you Lily," he said before glancing at the other. "And your name?" he asked. He turned his attention completely onto the male at the rest of Lily's words. If she was patient enough to wait, then so be it. He could choose first, or get his choices first. Whichever he wanted.

"Well since you've been waiting so long, I assume you have an idea on what Pokemon you would like to choose to start your travels with? Or do you want some choices?" he asked, getting back to business.

[Kamil]

Kamil pulled out a list of his favorite pokemon and looked at it. He began to ponder what pokemon to choose from. He thought a fire time might be helpful during this time of year, but then he saw Eevee was on the list. His favorite pokemon of all was Umbreon. ”I want an Eevee. That way I can have it evolve into an Umbreon! Kamil smiled as his long dream was becoming a reality, and then looked over at Lily. “Hey you know what would be kinda cute, getting an Aron, because you would look like its mother. “ Kamil didn’t realize how stupid he was sounding as he never has, and smiled at the thought thinking how adorable it would be.

[Prof. Nicole]

Lily watched them all for a moment, only so often looking between the Xatu and the other male. She was rather quiet not saying anything else. After all, the Xatu was right. Patience was a virtue after all. She listened quietly to Kamil as he talked about exactly what he wanted. So he liked dark types was it? She smiled a bit as she saw how happy he seemed to be. She however looked over at Kamil as he started talking to her. Her eyes kind of flickered a bit at his comment and she felt her defense kick back up again.

She was wrong. He wasn't any different, he wasn't any different than any of them. They were all the same. Humans were cruel creatures. They didn't care about anyone but themselves. She backed up and away from him keeping her eyes off of him. She said nothing, though the tension in the air seemed to increase ten fold of what it had been. She wanted nothing to do with him anymore. She just wanted him to get his pokemon and leave.
